Education for ALL... Back to School Time

It is Back to School season! Even if your child is at K-Prep year-round, you can still feel the buzz in the air of children excitedly putting on their new backpacks and heading off for a new year of learning. We want to remind you that learning never stops, and you can also sharpen your new pencils, pick out a new book or sign up for a class to help you continue to navigate this challenging world of parenting.

COBYS Family Services offers virtual classes for FREE to all families in Lancaster County. They have a new session that starts October 1st and is described as a program that "supports attachment and parent-child interaction, encourages positive parenting, and increases parents’ ability to promote children’s social, emotional, and academic development." That sounds amazing! We all want to have more positive experiences parenting and help our children's development - and free tips and suggestions are even better! Ms. Sam also takes time to share content and suggestions in our monthly newsletters. If you missed August, she shared great tips about supporting language development and answered some FAQs families have surrounding language. You can find this on the newsletter page of the website.
